2022
In 2022 we established Craftopia Town, which started out as a small project for myself and a few of my close friends, we’d log on once or twice a week and just build little buildings for the fun of it, there was a short tower at the spawn point in which 4 roads met at, and from there we had a street leading to housing, to the docks, to public services and the last to shops.
Little did we know that over roughly 2 years we would create a busting community and turn the world to a Realm (as we played on Bedrock Edition). We had members from across the globe and it was great! There wasn’t any need for moderation as there was a level of trust community wide, and there was little to no griefing, and we all had a laugh together, everyone had their own house or apartment that was personal to them, many had shops of their own design. It was a simpler time, no Craftopia Group, no team of people dedicated to running the show, just a community of great people having the time of their life.

Early 2024
Around February 2024 I, along with our now Discord Technician Connor, decided we need to start a fresh, and broaden our horizons, and that led us to find a world download of a city by a builder called ThatBuildingDuck and their team, it was a port of an earlier copy from Java Edition to Bedrock Edition which had some buildings unfinished, many unfurnished.
Myself and what is now the Craftopia Group team took this world download and have (over a rough year on and off) crafted it into something truly spectacular, Craftopia City – The City of Dreams.
Initially Craftopia City was our only server, and thus we had very tight regulations, and our laws were almost real with the amount of detail within them, however with Craftopia Network this has been severely trimmed down.

Late 2024
In December 2024 we established Craftopia Group as a full-fledged company, even going as far as becoming a subsidiary of MS-Cloud.
We’ve come a long way and we now have a proper team dedicated to working on everything under our umbrella, and also client work.

2025
All our servers now fall under the Craftopia Network name, with a new lobby that’s easier to access than ever, we have many a server now, ranging from survival, to minigames and of course Craftopia City.
With Craftopia Network comes a new Discord server, and also the trimming down of the Craftopia City Discord as we move to Craftopia Network as our main server moving forward.
